Overview of the project they are working on right now that includes the impact the project is making.

Both projects were born in the era of Covid-19 to address communal issues which have arisen as a result of the Coronavirus. Six Feet Supplies is a reliable student-led initiative which caters to the needs of at-risk individuals. Within this organization we pick up and deliver groceries and other supplies per the request of those who are unable to buy it themselves due to Covid-19. Additionally, SAM’s Chat was created for and by teens to provide a safe space to break the stigma around mental health through the “chat”. We work to mitigate any concerns which have arisen during quarantine by providing weekly video calls where we listen and enable teens with resources to address any personal or social issues.

Why I am excited to join Civics 2030
The Civics 2030 community resembles the hope and hard work of Gen Z which is why I am excited to join as I feel that the work being done in our organizations is finally being recognized and celebrated.

My vision for the future of American democracy
As the American people evolve so does democracy and it is the current uprising of the youth population which will forever change the expectations of the involvement young people should have in democracy.

The kind of superhero I am striving to become
I strive to 'be the person [I] needed when [I was] younger' — Ayesha Siddiqi, and that civic superhero is someone who proactively listens and uses compassion to lead in order to achieve a world of justice, liberty, and happiness.
